Rexburg Rapids is what it is, the only public pool for the community. The summers are very short in Rexburg, and while they say they heat the water, it's not warm enough to go here until at least July.
It's a small park, but has a kiddie area, lazy river, and a couple of slides. Unfortunately, the height limit for the slides is like 48"and they won't allow kids to go down them with floaties on.
The price isn't really high, but it seems like local residents should get more of a discount because it's supported by our taxes. It's also unfortunate that it isn't indoors or at least has a hot tub because as soon as there's cloud cover, it's too cold to swim

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this one I felt was worth writing. We have a couple of disabled kids we thought would love to float on the lazy river. We checked the reviews, and headed out. We arrived 5 before they opened and were quite a ways back in the line. Upon entering we found out that there are only maybe 15-20 tubes total. You can’t rent them or reserve them. AND PEOPLE NEVER GET OFF THEM. My kids are too big for the splash pad and can’t swim for the water slide. Complete waste of money for our family. We spent the whole four hours waiting for someone to give up a tube. They never did.
Great water park in Rexburg! The kids loved it. It has water slides, a lazy river that is not so lazy, a rock climbing wall, smaller water slides for the Littles, and all at a great price!
The place is fun, but can get crowded at times. Swim lessons here seem to be hit or miss. We've had some good teachers, and some not so good teachers for our kids.
They have a splash pad in the pool for smaller kids which is nice, and adults can relax in some more shallow waters. And for older kids they have a small rock wall in the deep end and two large water slides. And adults might find more fun in the lazy river, but it's honestly popular with people of all ages.
All in all, not a bad place for a family outing. Definitely worth visiting a few times each summer.
